Don’t expect chandeliers or ostentatious upholsteries here. Works of budding artists adorn the walls with paintings and photographs alike; one can purchase them if interested.
While waiting for dishes to be served, customers are treated to various accompaniments on the house, puzzle games and plain paper placemats to draw with the best one exhibited and rated, to occupy themselves while waiting for their dishes.
- The Food
Dining at Bokabuka restaurant will be a French affair as most of the dishes are French Mediterranean food with the exception of a few Italian cuisines. As the menu changes on a weekly basis, one can look forward to new interesting dishes to whet the appetite. Of course not to forget a few signature dishes which remain available upon request. Check out the salads Bokabuka is known for. Diners are treated to a refreshing platter of fruits and vegetables for a usual house salad, and also the Tomato and Feta salad which with its distinctive taste of Feta cheese and generous amount of olive oil mixed with parsley leaves, brings your palates to exotic feel.
Another hot favorite is the Escargots de Bourgogne. The meaty and large escargots, seasoned with garlic butter are then baked in their shells to retain its natural taste, resulting in the ultimate oozing flavour.
The Beef Fillet with Mushroom sauce is a sure winner. Serving local tenderloin with creamy sauce in a generous portion is the trademark of Bokabuka.
