My verdict:
1. corn served were spoilt
2. service staff brought entire plate to chef upon request
3. manager in charge denied that it were spoilt initially but after she was asked to try and taste the corn for herself - she admitted there was something wrong with the corn
4. no apology or remedy action was given at all
5. she later returned to say MD says to go ahead with what we want to do
6. she then showered us with her bad attitude and service by saying it is inevitable that some spoilt food be served as they do not taste the food prior to serving to which we expressed that it is not acceptable to say that in a restaurant like theirs.
7. we paid and left
8. boss called our friend who made the reservation to scream vulgarities at us and accusing us of "shoving the corn" into his manager's mouth and to have us go back so he can shove the corn into our mouths. he even warned us that he had called all his contacts in NEA, etc and they will not do anything to him/his restaurant even if we launch a complain.
9. we have since reported the bad food to NEA; awaiting for their reversion
10. as a consumer, I strongly suggest that this restaurant be boycotted to serve a deterrent to providing horrible service and bad food.
