Wine garage is situated in an ideal location with a cool breeze from across the water and great views of the lights and buzz of Clarke Quay. The atmosphere is contagious, who wouldn't be happy being surrounded with friends and strangers with full bellies, tad tipsy and loud conversations?

My verdict:
My husband and I moved to Singapore from Australia and it took us awhile to find something that we could sum up as being similar in quality and taste to the restaurants we used to frequent in Sydney.
Wine Garage is our favourite restaurant by far; we try to go at least once a fortnight. We are always welcomed by the friendly staff, and the waiters are slowly recognising us now, which makes us feel like it’s our own local place.
We always take overseas visitors here, because we are guaranteed something to suit every taste, fresh produce, quality without all the fuss or snobbery, great selection of wine at a reasonable price and the location is perfect!
About the restaurant:
Oysters were not shucked well, thus there were bits of shells in them.
Also, oysters were not chilled long enough.
At $5 apiece, we expected better.

About the restaurant:
This is by far one of the better restaurants in Singapore with quality food and fresh homemade ingredients. The service is extremely good with knowledgeable staff that can actually talk about what they are serving with confidence. I go to this restaurant at least once a week and I've always had a positive experience. The food is consistent every time and I always know what to expect. The Crispy Seabass is my favorite dish, and I love to start the meal with the pork belly and watermelon skewers. they just melt in my mouth! I also love the Garage Burger. I'd say its the best burger I've had and definitely the best in Singapore! Everything on the burger is fresh and homemade and its super juicy and tasty. Chef Travis has certainly done some incredible things with this menu and with the restaurant. I highly recommend Wine Garage to everyone and promise that you won't be disappointed!
Ordered Food:
I've had many dishes, actually everything on the menu because I eat there so often! The Crispy Seabass and the Spinach Salad, and the Smoked Salmon, and the Burger, and of course the homemade ice creams and sorbets, the pasta that's also homemade...I could go on and on...its all so good!
