Kuala Lumpur Quickie
by: Sophia

Passengers who are on transit at KLIA will be happy to know that they will be able to experience Kuala Lumpur despite the short duration of their stay. KLIA will be starting is Kuala Lumpur quickie, a short tour of KL that will last around 4 hours. This new programme is aimed to attract more tourists and visitors to Malaysia. Hopefully, those who participate will decide to visit again for a longer stay.

The programme is called Discover Kuala Lumpur where visitors will begin their journey on the high-speed KLIA Express train to KL Sentral. The journey only takes 27 minutes. Upon arrival at KL Sentral, there is an interesting mix of tourist attractions on the itinerary. A special package which includes a trip to KL Tower is also available.

There are so many sights to see and four short hours is definitely not enough. Discover Kuala Lumpur hopes to tantalize and tease tourists, encouraging them to visit again to experience KL at their own pace. It is also a good way to open up the eyes of visitors to a sneak peek of Malaysian lifestyle and culture. So next time you find yourself stranded at KLIA for more than four hours, take the tour and be pleasantly surprised.
